Sangeeta Jain : They Never Shot The Video Wherein I Am Being Beaten Up
In a shocking in-depth revelation of the UP woman’s case who allegedly beat up her ailing mother-in-law mercilessly, it seems what we see is not always what is completely true. The video we all saw was, reportedly, just one side of the story. Sangeeta Jain is crying foul over being framed. Here’s what Sangeeta, her family & lawyer have claimed.
Just a few hours after the video of Sangeeta beating up her aged mother-in-law black and blue turned viral, another video cropped up showing Sangeeta beating up her husband at his saree shop. Her husband told the media, “I wanted the world to know her reality.”
If you too could smell fishy about his statement, here’s the flip side of this story. Sangeeta’s brother and lawyer both claim that her in-laws had been trying every trick in the world to win a case against her at a family court, and this video was a plant to have the judgement in their favour.
Reportedly, Sangeeta is her husband’s second wife, as per the claims of her lawyer and brother. Just like his first wife, her husband allegedly wanted her too to leave the house, but past 6 years she was living with her in-laws and refused to separate from her husband. In a property dispute as well as a dowry case apparently impending in the court, Sangeeta’s in-laws were desperate to prove her guilty. “They never shot the video wherein I am being beaten up. The video leaked selectively shows only the situation when I am retaliating. This is a fabrication to win the case,” rues Sangeeta.
“I was regularly beaten up by her husband, but those instances have neither been shot nor leaked in the media. My father-in-law even attempted rape on me, my husband and mother-in-law both not only physical abused me, their verbal abuses formed the major part of my day. They yelled at me saying that since I can’t even get them any dowry, they will throw me out,” Sangeeta bursts.
While her lawyer points out specifics of the in-laws’ impending property and dowry disputes, along with the fact that despite a 6-year-old marriage, Sangeeta was unable to bear a child. As to how this new twist will shape the verdict of this case is awaited.
