A Cabbie In Mumbai Asked A Woman In Labour to Get off The Car, But Something Amazing Happened
A taxi driver in Mumbai after hearing screams of a lady passenger in labour from the back seat, forced her to get off the cab.
Noor Jahan was accompanied by her husband Ilyaz Shaikh, 27, and a female neighbour, in the cab.The three got stuck on the road for more than an hour, thats when the labour pain started. taxi driver, on hearing her screams, panicked and asked them to get off his vehicle.
Noor Jahan Shaikh, 24, who had to get off the cab while in labour, was spotted in that difficult situation by some female devotees seated on the verandah outside Wadala’s Ganpati temple, who then immediately rushed to her help.
“We were so worried. My wife was close to delivering the baby and all we could see was a Ganpati Mandir. As soon as we got down outside the temple, some women, who were sitting in the verandah of the mandir, rushed to help us. We didn’t even have to ask. After that, I was called later to see the face of my baby boy,” Ilyaz said
The women created a makeshift delivery room for Noor with sarees and bedsheets that they had asked for from nearby homes. After the safe delivery of the baby, the couple later headed to the hospital for further check ups.
