That Moment When Hindu Goddess Kali Took Over The Empire State Building of NewYork
Hindu Goddess Kali is associated with empowerment. She is the fierce aspect of the Goddess Durga. The name “Kali” means black, time, death, she is therefore called the Goddess of Time, Change, Power, and Destruction.
Image of Goddess Kali was displayed on to the iconic Empire State building in New York which is also considered to be the tallest building of NYC skyline.
Images of endangered Animals were displayed on the façade of Empire State Building for 7 Days, last image was Goddess Kali’s. Artist Andrew Jones designed the portrait to make the point that Mother Nature now more than ever needs a fierce avatar to fight the dangers of pollution and extinction.
