Look how US stopped Pakistan from nuking India in 1999
Watch this video, which is an excerpt from “Avoiding Armageddon – Our Future- – Our Choice” an American documentary series produced by Ted Turner Documentaries, to see former US President Bill Clinton recalling a meeting on July 4, 1999 with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif of Pakistan. US had intelligence that Pakistan was preparing its nuclear arsenal for possible deployment against India as it was facing a possible yet another defeat in its latest invasion into Kargil, India.
It must also be recalled that having already faced three defeats in previous wars with India, Pakistan felt emboldened enough to invade India once again in 1999 i.e. within a year after getting the nuclear status.
